June NC Demo Blog Hop – Die Design Challenge!

Hello, and welcome to our June NC Demo Blog Hop! I can’t believe that we are at the end of June already! Summer has officially begun…yay!!

You may have started out with my blog or hopped over here from Laurie Meier’s blog page where she shared her fun project. As you can see from the pic above (and this month’s tagline), we are doing a fun design challenge. Our Blog Hop leader, Tracie Evans Langley, gave the dice a toss and this is how they landed. So we were to create a card using In Colors, it needed layers, embellishments, a fun fold, and masculine…whew! That’s a handful, literally 🙂

So I got busy with first deciding what type of fun fold I would make. I came across this really fun project by fellow demo, Robin Daus, and decided to give that a try. For my In Colors, I’m working with Copper Clay cardstock and Pebble Path ink. I think they really pair well together. For layering, I’m using 2023-2025 In Color 6 x 6 Designer Series paper.

I’ve created a PDF tutorial for this card that shows all the measurements and steps that you can access HERE. I hope you’ll give it a try!

Please continue on to the next blog post to see what Kelly has to share with you. Her projects are always so creative, as are all our monthly participants!
