NC Demo December Blog Hop – What’s New With You?

EEK!  This is the first time I’m participating in our NC Demo Group’s Monthly Blog Hop!  It’s something I’ve been wanting to do for a while now and just felt too intimidated to try it.  BUT…I know I needed to give it a shot, so here I am, lol!

December’s edition is What’s New With You? and the idea is to focus on new things…the New Year, new resolutions, just anything that’s new to me.  So for my very 1st Blog Hop I chose to start out with something simple, which is one of my resolutions…keep it simple!.  I also wanted to use a stamp set that was new to me.  I’ve had this set in my stash for quite a while now and have not yet used it.  It’s one of the Hostess Sets from our current annual catalog and it’s called Dare to Dream. 

I want to be more focused and more organized in the new year so what better way than to have a cute little visual reminder of where I am in the month.  This card has an easel feature that ensures that it’s going to stay standing on my desk.  The easel idea was copied from a swap I received from Pamela Laughinghouse-Smith during our Monthly Ronald McDonald House Charities meeting.   And the great thing besides it being cute is it’s super easy to make!
