SU! Day Of Caring – Open to ALL!

Stampin’ UP! regularly schedules a Day of Service among its employees, and this time the event is open to anyone who wants to participate!  For this year’s Day of Service, they will use the Share Sunshine PDF Download to make and send cards to loved ones, frontline workers, etc.  You can find my previous post about the Share Sunshine PDF download here.

The public event will occur on Thursday, May 21st at 2:00pm MT (4:00pm ET) and it will be held on SU! CEO, Sara Douglass’s personal FB page, which you can find here.  There’s a little bit of prep required if you want to participate in the live event.  But, if you are unable to participate in the live craft party, the replay will be available to view any time on Sara’s Facebook page.  And of course, you are welcome to just watch the event if that’s more suitable for you.

To follow along during the live craft party, you will need card bases, Designer Series Paper (or any double-sided 12×12 craft paper you have on hand), a printed copy of the Share Sunshine PDF Download (which can be purchased here) (or use your own sentiments), embellishments, adhesive, and scissors or a Paper Trimmer. To make it easy for everyone to participate, we’ve also created an instruction sheet for Sara’s four-step cards, which includes a cut map for your Designer Series Paper (any Designer Series Paper will work). Note: A full package of 12″ x 12″ Designer Series Paper will be enough to make four kits (each kit makes 20 cards), or you can just work with 3 sheets of 12×12 paper to make 20 cards.  You can find the instruction sheet here. You are encouraged you to come prepared with pre-cut Designer Series Paper!

Sara shared on her FB page how to cut the 12×12 paper so that you’d have exactly what you need to make the cards.  Her video for that is here.

Here are a few samples of the cards Sara has created using the suggested layout from her PDF above.

Happy Stamping!
