Hello and welcome to our month NC Demo Blog Hop! You may have started here with my blog, or hopped over from Jo Anne Hewins’ blog , where I know she shared an amazing project. As you can see from the graphic, our challenge this month was to create something using flowers. That’s not hard to do as we have quite a large selection of floral stamp sets.
When you think of floral stamps, you might think that they normally require coloring of some sort. But that’s not always the case! I chose the Magnolia Mood bundle (from our Online Exclusives) because I love the big detailed magnolia die. It’s so versatile!
I was creating this card for another group I participated in and wanted it to be a quick and simple card. And I wanted the die-cut piece to stand out, so I used our Silver Foil paper. The only downside is that getting a good picture is a little challenging!
I created my own DSP by stamping the smaller flower several times using Smokey Slate, stamped off once. And, here’s a tip to save you from using a full layer of Silver Foil. Die-cut the large magnolia flower, and use the negative as your layer. You’ll be placing the layer with the stamped flowers over it so you’ll never see where the die-cut was!
I used the Everyday Greetings (another Online Exclusive) for the inside sentiment and stamped another small flower to carry over the design theme.
And of course, stamped the front of the envelope as well to tie everything together.
I hope you enjoyed this simple but classic design. I intend to use this set for several other occasions, such as anniversaries, sympathy, and even just a thinking of you card. I’ve also provided a tutorial if you’d like the details, just click HERE.
Please continue through the rest of our hop to see what the rest of our talented group has to share with you. is up next, and she always amazes me with her projects!

I love that large magnolia die too, but I don’t use it enough. I love it in the Silver Foil. I would not have thought to stamp the background and it looks so pretty!
Love it!

Love it. I have that die and haven’t used it thanks for the idea
