Welcome! Today I’d like to share a card with you that uses the Merry Moose bundle from our Holiday Catalog. It also uses several punches from the Annual Catalog as well. I love bundles because they give you everything you need to make great projects at a discounted price. You can see a list of all the supplies I used at the bottom of this post. I tend to not give my punches the love they deserve. They are a quick way of pulling a card together without a lot of time and effort.
I think the punches give you instant gratification, and who doesn’t like that? I’m also sharing a little tip on using the Classic Label punch. Did you know you can ‘extend’ the label beyond the punched length? You can punch the label and cut it in half. Then take either end and attach it to the label with your sentiment, as shown below.
I mounted the Moose using dimensionals to give it a little more depth. And although it’s not in the list of supplies, I brushed Wink of Stella on his antlers to make them stand out a bit.
This card could be used for a lot of occasions just by changing out the sentiments. It definitely has a bit of a masculine feel to it, but it’s really appropriate for anyone!
