Welcome to our April NC Blog Hop! Thanks for joining us. You might have landed here from Jo Anne Hewins’ blog where she shared her fun project. It’s always tough following Jo Anne because she creates such amazing projects!
If you started here, you might want to know that our theme this month is Online Exclusives!
Our Online Exclusives are special products only available in my online store, not in print. We introduce new items every March, July, and November. These products are in a specific category on the store for easy access and don’t have a set end date. Sometimes we restock items, but others are only available until sold out. This lets us continuously offer new items without needing a physical catalog. If you see something you like, don’t hesitate, as popular items may sell out fast!
The March release included many exciting items, making it hard for me to choose what to use in my project. I love coffee, so I picked the Latte Love products. These products are perfect for coffee enthusiasts! The stamps and dies allow for creative coffee-themed projects, while the Designer Series Paper features a lovely color palette with shades like Calypso Coral, Early Espresso, Lemon Lolly, Lost Lagoon, Pecan Pie, and Petal Pink.
Here’s my project for this month. I’m Not sure what you’d call this layout, but the skinny 1″ strips on both sides of the card are glued down, and only the middle section opens up. It’s a cool way to show off different facets of our DSP. Choosing patterns is a bit of a challenge though – there are just too many awesome options! I picked Crumb Cake for my images and sentiments. It isn’t listed among the official DSP shades, but it totally works. Between you and me, I was a bit lazy the day I created my card. My Crumb Cake ink pad and Blends were still lying around from a last project, so I just went ahead and used them again!
I decided to add a little fun to this card by placing a Wobble behind the coffee cup. Here’s a video to show how it works. You can find these at most craft stores, or on Amazon. I use the mini Wobbles as they seem to work best for me and don’t add a lot of thickness to the card. It should go through the mail without any extra postage.
Here is the inside of the card.
This card layout is quick and fun! Here’s a Tutorial if you’d like to try it yourself.
I hope you like this card. Continue exploring our blog hop to see more unique creations from our talented demonstrators. Next up is Frances Wagner, who always shares exciting projects. Remember, we host this blog hop on the last Sunday of every month, so come back to see more!

Love your card and love that fun fold
Thanks, Tina. I haven’t made that fold in a while and felt it was time to dust it off again!
I love the fold you used for your card. It’s one of my favorites. Love the use of the wobble and your little video so cute! I also want to say that you have a great way with words.
Thanks so much, Jo Anne. I have always loved using those wobbles, they just add an extra touch of fun. And thanks for your kind words, I always feel that I tend to ramble, lol!
Love this card, Toni! What a fun and easy design and the wobble is a fabulous touch! Thank you for sharing!
Thank you, Tracie 🙂 It is definitely an easy design. They tend to be my favorite types since I’m a professional procrastinator and am always playing beat the clock with my monthly projects!
Toni, I love your card and the wobble is perfect. Thanks for sharing.
Toni – Your card is awesome! It’s such a great design to show-off different patterns of DSP that go really well together. I love how you finished the inside as well. And, the wobble is the absolute best part of the card! I really need to get some of them and give that a try. Thanks so much for sharing!
